    ok. i don't have a jbl myself so can't say if there's any issue, but i have heard around here that the jbl's can be more trouble to remove or work with than the stock or Entunes.

    for the next one i would definitely say all the great bass comes from power first. that's where you get the depth, punch, balls etc. pay to play. the jbl amp isn't putting out much power.

    it will play audio, yes. it will not sound much better than stock. You can fill the enclosure with lots of polyfill and get some increased low end. I'd save the money and put it towards a full system upgrade

    I don't see why not there are lots of shallow mount 8" subs. I'm not sure how the stock is wired my understanding is that it's 2ohm.

    Do you guys know how much the amp and subwoofer that came with the truck measure? I’m trying to see if I could throw in another one and not get rid of the rear seat plastics ?
