Speaker Replacement with amp

    18" tires and rims, 2.75" Procomp lift, Fox shocks in rear.
    First, I have no knowledge at all of car stereos, so please forgive my simple query.

    I want to replace the speakers in my 2014 base model access cab with stock head unit. I purchased this speaker kit:
    $190 CT Sounds Meso 6.5” 320 Watt 2-Way Premium Component Car Speaker Set

    and this amplifier:

    I also purchased a speaker adapter kit from *********.com.

    I plan to buy all of the parts, then get a pro to perform the install. I listen mainly to FM radio and never blast the system. I listen to jazz. The goal is to get better quality sound without replacing the stock head unit. The stock system sounds horrible. I don't want to spend a lot of money at one time to overhaul the entire system. Later on, I'll replace the HU.

    Is there anything else I need to purchase to make this work? Speaker cable? Speaker connectors?? Sound deadening stuff? Any advice would be helpful.

    Wow. Seems extremely pricey. There's gotta be a less expensive alternative. Would this work instead?

    ********* is overpriced for sure, I just linked it because I knew they would have it. You can do it by cutting the factory wires and running your own for dirt cheap, but most would rather a plug and play solution. That kit you linked is only good up to 2011 Tacoma, but yes a similar kit good for 2012+ is all you need.
