I have an iPhone 7 and leave my Bluetooth on 24/7. It seems to me that since my ownership of two months, that my Spotify
USED to connect and play every time I entered the truck.

Now, it seems that if I run an errand then hop back in the truck, that Spotify
won't start playing automatically from where it left off when I shut the truck down. Now, when I get back in the truck I have to
swipe out of the Spotify app, wait 30ish seconds, then reopen it and press play.

    First world problem???? Everyone's experience?

Mine does that with spotify too. I'm not sure it used to or not, but I do notice it more recently.

My Spotify 'pauses' when it loses connectivity with any Bluetooth speaker (essentially what the Tacoma is) .... I need for the connection to re-establish, then hit 'play' again

First I noticed the same, it wouldn't play when I re-entered the truck, even if I didn't even look at my phone. Now Spotify crashes most times when getting back in the vehicle and trying to get it to play. Super frustrating. Gunna try updating Entune, doubt that will fix anything though.

Remember how a couple years ago Apple put that terrible U2 album on everyone’s phone?

That’s what mine tries to play every time I start it.

I'm on the most recent version of the Spotify and Entune apps. Spotify updated 2 days ago, and that seems to be when I remember running into the problem. I bet it was just a shitty update.
