Spotter Mirror

Hey 3rd gens.
Just thought I would pass along my latest C-mas gift to me from me. Funny how that happens this time of year. Picked up the Spotter Mirror for my DC. Looked at the Rav4 convex mirror but not a fan of the location of the convex part. Have been running Spotter for a couple weeks now and they have worked great. They are heated and we have had some heavy frost mornings so I was able to really try the heating element on them and they worked great. The convex/blindspot part is wide and seems to give me a better wide angle view (unlike trashy round stick on one I had).

Mirror comes with wire extensions for the heating element. Fit and finish are good and not a mod I regret at all. Quick easy install. Besides the bed mat and console tray organizer this has to be one of my most useful mods. Here are a couple pics and link to Taco Twonz install video on Youtube.

I really like this. The Focus ST that I traded in for the Taco had those from the factory and I didn't realize how much I loved them until I went back to a vehicle without them.

 

My F150 had them - they were excellent. Sadly it looks like these are not compatible with the BSM?

Yeah according to the Taco Twonz vid looks like they will be coming out with that option in 2020

 

If it had the BSM support, I would be all for this. I hate that it seems I can have either the convex mirror or the BSM but not both. Hopefully it is true that they will have it as an option in 2020.

I don't care for the wide angle mirrors. I prefer the normal mirror with the convex as a smaller one on the side, but also want to keep the BSM that I have. I'll just hope that spottermirror comes out with it.
