Had sprint for over 10+ years. They went through phases of crappy coverage and customer service, but now they've got it together and they're still cheap.

Can't wait to get the new evo 4g!

If all you do is talk&text then you don't need one of the phones that require a data plan.Pick another phone

had verizon for three years when i was a teenager...way overpriced IMO.
Switched to Sprint 4 years ago and have been happy since. they have always addressed my issues and concerns and i have only had to take a phone in for repair once.
Very happy with my black berry and BB service plan.

Have had Sprint for as long as I can remember...at least 15 years. It has had its ups and downs but overall I have been happy. Was starting to get tired of their phones and about went the ATT/Iphone route a month or so ago. Then the announcement of the HTC 4G Evo came out and I am really looking forward to that. Have one on order and pick it up in about 2 weeks. Really looking forward to that handset, 4G is coming to KC this summer so I am stoked.

There are numerous rumors this morning that Sprint is getting the Iphone this summer. I would suspect that Apple wants in the 4G game faster than ATT can provide. If that is the case Sprint will soon have two of the most popular phones on the market (evo & Iphone)

Not even sure if it is true, but a lot of buzz about it this morning...

I've been happy with Verizon since switching over from ATT wireless/Cingular/ATT 3 years ago.

And what kind of "upgraded phones" are you looking at? Unless it's a smart phone of some sort I don't think they can make you get a data plan. Any smart phone you obviously will have to.

I have Sprint for my work blackberry and Verizon for my personal Droid. Everywhere I go in SoCal both work just the same for me.

I'm out of contract on my personal account and i'm switching over to Sprint for the HTC EVO 4g. I will save $24 a month from my VZW bill ($576 for the 2 year contract).

    +1

I started with AT&T out of high school, after a couple years switched to Verizon because i broke my phone and couldn't afford a new one. Switched to Verizon and got a new phone for free. Only thing I hated about Verizon was how much they restrict the phone capabilities. I'm now back with AT&T.

i have verizon. my phones have gotten service where my friends dont have any. I havent had luck with my samsung phones staying together. they all seem to fall apart... my LG's on the other hand, great phones. i always drop them, most of the time getting out of the car they fall off the seat or something and hit the asphalt. they chip and crap like that but nothing else. i have one still that i through across the room and it didnt do anything. did the same with a samsung and the whole top piece of the flip phone snapped completely in half.

There's no way sprint (or verizon) is getting the iphone anytime soon. It would've been spotted on fcc's site already and someone would've leaked more promising rumors already. Don't get me wrong...I'd love it if it did...but no way.

My employment is now closing their account with Sprint/Nextel . We are going with Verizon PTT , our service with Nextel/Sprint is now ridiculous. EVERY call drops......Walkie Talkie looses service when you hit someone up , and dead spots everywhere!! Our area salesman has now told us....."Sorry , theres nothing we can do":sadviolin:

I've got Sprint now, nothing fancy just voice and text. Never had a dropped call, but service can get spotty in rural areas. Can't say I truly like any one provider over the other though.
