    Honestly, I will never use it while driving freeway speeds as I only intended to use it off-roading. It's covered most of the time as I don't want to hear the wind noise. Traffic in Hawaii is so bad you can hardly do the speed limit here, so no issue. I haven't driven any speeds above 15mph with the light on and prob won't (unless there's a Zombie invasion)...lol You'll be fine bro... You'll have to figure out if there's any light deflection on your own if you can get it out on the open road with it on. Damn thing is so bright, it would prob cause a major accident if I drove on the roads with it...:D

    obviously not on while your driving on the freeway man.. lol

    I meant at all.. in general does the light output shake.. when you have it on while your wheeling. i guess its different here than on the Island. we have miles and miles of open desert where we can get up to 60+mph.. with the light on. our trails here range from slow crawls to high speed trail runs.

    A few things
    Speaking of lightbars, did you guys have to kind of squeeze your Relentless brackets in towards the bar in order to mount the light bar? I did. At first I was thinking is this supposed to be like this, but once I got both bolts in i realized its supposed to be that way. it kind of keeps it from moving side to side. But I could here a little thump when i went over bumps, I saw that the bar was shifting a little bit on the drivers side and the bracket was just barely rubbing the top of the roof when i hit a bump. I just kind of pushed the bar towards the pass side a little and its much better now. no more thumps. Its equal distance from both sides. I used some rubber pieces in between the bar and mounts and it helped a lot with the bar wanting to move up or down. It stays put now.

    I'll try to observe it next time I'm driving with it on and let ya know...

    Not sure if you saw my thread pics on the light bar install, but mine's never bumped any part of the top of the cab. I did have to bend the ends of the brackets to get them closer to the bar for the screw mount though. Did a nice bend using a vice. Mine weren't shaped properly from Relentless and had to be conformed better to meet the light bar. They were really sticking out kinda far prior to my bending evolution. Rick...I assume you didn't get the aluminum mini-bracket with the light bar with the little grooves? Hence you went with a rubber solution. Guess whatever works..works..:D

    Yeah I got the aluminum brackets with my bar but the rubber has worked out well for me so I didn't bother to cut them yet.

    yeah mine were the same. just started threading one bolt in on one side.. and just pulled the mounts together. I did the same thing as Squints.. copied him and used some nylon spacers so no rubbing issues here.

    Thanks Bro! Yeah, Burt does great work. I love how they look everytime I see those Halo's lit up...:D I ran the Halo's with their own switch, so I can use them in any light mode..

    Rick...did you put a nylon spacer in the roof mounting hole? That will keep the brackets from compressing down into the top of the cab.

    A couple big months ahead with Major Mods coming...

    - Retro Grillcraft grill with Land Cruiser badge for that clean classic look
    - Spec-D Taillights any day now from Mom...:)
    - Full-on armor all the way around from Pelfreybilt; All Alum Front/Rear, all skids
    - Rigid lights for the front and rear

    Gonna be EPIC!!:cool:

    Oh yeah...and some more 4wd outings with the Oahu TW gang...:D

    Aaron...for the terrain we have in Hawaii I don't need the high clearance in the rear. It would really be just more for looks on the island...lol I'm good with the standard rear..:D Now...if for some chance I move back to the mainland in the future...caveat..(Prob not gonna happen..:D) then I would entertain it..
