    Thanks for letting me join.
Tacoma 2020 won’t start consistently. After 10-15 minute it starts up(so far). No engine light but BlueDriver picked up P1604 code one time. (startability).
Mechanics said battery and starter check out fine but without engine light they can’t diagnose exactly where problem is.
This happens maybe once a week. Anyone else have this issue? Would rather try to solve this instead of driving to failure.
    Thanks in advance.

Clogged fuel filter? Maybe you (or previous owner) got some questionable gas at some point. I recently read that you should avoid gas stations that are having their tanks filled as that process can stir up sediment from the underground tanks. I had never considered that before but it definitely makes sense. At least, it’s something that I can easily imagine.

How does this happen only once a week? Does it happen only when it hit a certain point of you gas tank? Or is it because the truck sat for longer than 1 day? If it only happen when you have lower gas than it could be that you have bad gas on the bottom tank. I would also check all your grounds. Also check all spark plug and connectors to make sure everything is tight.

Thanks for response. I only drive the truck a few times a week. Still using same tank of gas in last couple of weeks. Never had problem starting at house only after driving for a distance and then starting again. Maybe it is bad gas. Seems like it would present same problem each time I start though. Will try your suggestions. Thanks.

the fuel filter is part of the pump sender unit in the tank
have you checked to see if your fuel pump is on the recall list
you have a warm start issue, given your description
have you triple checked your battery and starter connections

    and welcome
