2004 Tacoma with 200,000 had developed a problem of responding to key turn with clutch depressed, but will start perfectly with the override button pushed in and a key turn. Only other time I had a problem with starting, the floor mat had migrated up under the clutch and not being completely depressed. Not the current issue.
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Check the clutch pedal switch for electrical failure, or for being out of adjustment. Also make sure it is still plugged in.
