Stealth Mode (3rd Gen)

Okay, so I know this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to find much in the way of useful advice, so here goes:

I would like to be able to turn off all of the lights on my 3rd gen Tacoma, both interior and exterior, while driving. I plan on doing some driving under night vision (on private property, obviously), and would like to be able to black out my truck for this purpose.

Yes, I know that this is dangerous, and would be illegal if I were to do this on public roads. That is not my intent. So, what can I do in order to make this happen?

 

The most I know of is:

1. Lights off
2. Dim interior lights
3. There's an option to blackout the radio too (on the unit itself)
4. Brake lights are going to be a problem though

 

Drug runs on “private property”?

 

Best bet is dim the interior lights, have dark ass tint, and put your rear lights on a switch. Just don’t forget to flip that switch on again when going in road or your brake lights won’t work.

Years back there was a lambo that used to do this across Texas for drug runs.

 

It’s a game of hide and seek.
