Stock Fogs to Spod

    Bilstein 5100 all 4 corners, OME 886 front springs, adda leaf progressive rear packs. Front upper control arms replaced also ,Group 31 battery conversion with Odyssey gel battery . Warn winch bumper and winch. Prinsu roof rack,Full grille replacement with ridgid duallys mounted behind, and 17" SCS bronze wheels with copper 255/80/17 ,
    Searched but to no avail. Has anyone moved their Stock Fogs to their Spod. I'd like to but also want to maintain the function of only working when low beams are on. Not sure how or which wires to run to Spod. Do I use or remove the relay for the stock wiring? Any help especially a schematic is greatly appreciated!

    you should be able to just run the power ground wires from the spod straight to the fogs...

    And there are write ups on how to do an anytime fog mod.

    Yes, I know I can but I want to keep the feature that the lights will only come on with low beams and go off when Highbeams or truck off. I'm researching

    Are you replacing your existing factory fog lights with the Spod? If so then buy fog light wire extension so that all you have to do is cut the appropriate end off of the extension to plug in to the truck's harness and wire it to the new lights. Function will stay the same as the original fog lights.

    I have Spod installed... not changing the stock fogs as yet. Just want to move switching to the Spod. Desire to keep the feature they will only come on with lowbeams and off with highs.

    Do you still want to have stock fogs working with the new lights? Or are you decommissioning stock fogs?

    You can tap in to the stock fog power line and route it to a relay. When power is to stock fogs, relay will close and you can power on you spod with a switch. You can leave the switch on all the time and when stock fog wiring goes out, spod power goes too.

    Or, you can run the relay to the head light power wire, and when headlights are on, relay is closed giving spod power and you can control them with switch as well.

    Another way is to use an add a circuit to the fuse of either the stock fogs, or the headlights. You wouldn't need a relay for this if your switch is rated for the amperage being used.

    No new lights just want fogs activated by Spod and still work as wired stock.

    Just a bunch of old crap
    Here's what I did...

    I spliced into my factory wires of the fogs pretty close to the fogs themselves and ran the pos and neg wires to the sPOD (I have the small Bantam SE). Cap off the other wires you cut off so they don't short somewhere under the hood. Then I ran a single wire from the fuse in the under-hood fuse box to the alternate input for that switch on the side of the Bantam SE box. Now I can turn on the fogs and dim/strobe/flash them with the sPOD OR I can activate them by using my factory switch. If I have the switch on the sPOD for fogs turned on, I cannot shut off the fogs with the factory switch. But I can turn on the fogs on/off with the factory fog switch without having to turn on the fog switch on the sPOD.

    Make sense?

    It depends on which model of sPOD module you have. If it's the older big one, I'm not sure if there's a separate input to trigger your sPOD switches with other circuits from your truck.

    For example, my fogs are set up to switch 3 on my sPOD controller in the cab. That bottom green row of inputs are where I ran a wire to the fogs fuse under the box on the left (switch 3 input is the 5th wire from the left - 2nd black wire). The other end of that wire I just wedged in the slot on one side of the fog fuse and pushed the fuse down on it and into its slot.
