ARB lockers and 4.88s front and rear, OME 886s, Dakars, etc., Safari Snorkel, 17"Fuel Revolvers w/ 35x12.50r17 KM2s, fenders cut 3" all around, Pioneer AVH-P4400BH w/ Backup cam, CB/PA (PA Installed), Weathertech Digis, Foglight anytime, AP: front bumper, skids, and pack rack, custom sliders, Warn 9.5XP, dual VIAIR 480Cs with a 2.5gal tank, OTRATTW switches galore, URD y-pipe, RCI skids, LF 240s, etc.
I have a very strange issue right now and I can't for the life of me figure out the cause.
    Setup:
I have 2x Lightforce 240 spots on a relay. 12V+ is connected to my Blue Sea fuse block. The "switch" is wired into the positive on my projector's ballast. Ground is solid to the frame, and of course the load is solid to the lights. Everything worked just as it should until this past Sunday when they were on for an extended amount of time. Now, when I turn on my high beams, the driver's side headlight will temporarily just turn off, and the passenger side and Lightforces will both turn on but very dim. Then, sometimes after a few seconds (typically) the driver's side light will come back on and all the lights will be full blast. This doesn't change with engine speed (if that's relevant). And after this happens, I can turn the lights off and on like normal without hesitation.

    Here's the strangest part!!!
When the lights are in their f-ed up "dim"mode, the power indicating lights on my OTRATTW stitches turn on as if the accessories are on though none of them are.

All grounds are solid and all positives are individually fused.

WTF IS GOING ON? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!!!

Maybe a short, maybe a relay is bad.

I'm hoping it's just a bad relay in that case. I'll check those when I get off work. Thanks!!!

Bump. Changing the relay didn't help at all - still the same issue

I'm wondering if the Ground point you use are not a real good ground?? The grounds pass from metal part to attached metal parts - and in an older vehicle the connection points can corrode.

Depending on the wiring configuration and ground points you maybe getting a back feed through a light that acts as an in line resistor?? I'd run a separate wire ground direct from the battery to each and every lights (Use alligator clips) and drive it to see if it goes away.

All right. I'll definitely try that. But all grounds were solid upon install
    Thank you though!!!
