Supercharger negative boost

    I have a 5vzfe and at idle it reads negative 2 boost and in neutral when I rev it it stays negative...is this normal?

    Boost gauge is bad...or the piping is bad to the gauge.

    It actually reads -21 at idle which is apparently normal

    Billstein 5100s set at 2.5 in the front,2in AAL in the rear with 5100s
    It's called vacuume. It will not show boost tell you spin the SC fast enough to build boost.

    Even while the truck is revved in neutral ? I didn't here any whine and it was still in vacuum

    I hear that's normal from a few threads but other threads say it's not...previous owner had a auto and he said his would not whine or go out of vacuum if in nuetral or park because no load @Justus

    I will drive it soon and report back...saw some videos on YouTube though and they whined in nuetral/park....hmm wonder if the bpv is ok
