I don't think he has. He changed out some of the LED's just to get a different color but not because they were out I don't think.

Thank you! Yeah I'm over all of that stuff now. I understand where they're coming from because I do see some seriously bro-ed out trucks and the majority of our forum is interested in the baja/offroad trucks. Which is awesome because I love those trucks too. I even plan on building one some day. (and its going to be a tacoma :) )

But yeah man I appreciate it!

Awesome truck man... Whatever you use it for, obviously as you are, be proud of it... Its go a west coast look I miss... Wish I could do the same to mine but its going to Africa with me... And I dont want to offer too many reasons beyond what it will already have to get packed off in pieces on the back of a camel. I always wondered what those that grill would look like on that a Tacoma, I like it, on that one... I think part of it though is how it matches the tire/wheel package in my opinion. It wouldnt look that good on a truck with out that edgy of a tire and wheel package. Over all though great ride. The interior is exactly what I wanted to do eventually.

Thanks! And thank you for serving. Military right? You're bringing your truck with you? How long are you going to be over there?

Oh and definitely don't let them steal parts of your truck via camel haha.

Thanks! Yeah I am going down there for 2 yrs to run the Marine security element for the Embassy in Niamey, Niger. Looks like some good sand and dirt to play in! Just trying to figure out how to get my truck down there lifted... they try to limit it to 3 inches and I'm trying to squeak 6 with 33's. Sucks! But I'll do what I can. I'm 99% positive doing the lift or shipping equipment and parts down there for any extensive work will be just past ridiculous... So saving all my "little" projects and mods for the garage there but trying to lift it before.

(by the way if anyone knows the roof height of a Taco on 6 inches and 33's... please let me know!)

Awesome! You'll have to post some pictures of you taking it offroad over there. Yeah i can't even imagine how expensive that would be over there. Do you have to fit it somewhere like a parking garage or something? Is that why there's restrictions on height?

No its just the shipping container restrictions or something... I am still figuring it out but they restrict lifts to 3 in suspension, no more... Some people get through with a little more but I dont want to gamble and get stuck with no truck following me out there... Definitely going to get some pictures out there for sure.

    Thanks!

Me and my friend (APTJ) installed a Kenwood Powersub this past weekend. It used to be in his truck but he sold it to me. It was already mounted on his plastic piece behind his seat so we just swapped plastic pieces. For the money and size this thing is awesome. I listen mostly to metal and hardcore music and its perfect for that and for rap it's good too. Nothing too crazy but its perfect for me.

Great looking truck. For all those out there dissin this guy...I have to say your full of shit. If you dont like the truck, keep that shit to yourself. If you like the truck give some positive feedback.

I think the truck looks awesome. Also, the cool thing is it's your truck...If others dont like it, it dont matter. What matters is you like it. I just bought the 2011 a few weeks back and have not done anything to mine yet. I will say that if mine looks half as bas ass as yours whe I'm done with my build, I'll be a happy camper.

Cheers to you and your truck!

Dude - I love your truck.

What most of the haters fail to see here is a complete and total TOYOTA PASSION.

I will go out on a limb that most that come to this site HATERs (jealous) and TOYOTA enthusiasts have one thing in common, a PASSION for their trucks.

I also noticed that you have done most of your work and a lot of it as well as money.

Your work and PASSION for Style, COOL DROOL, and love for your truck shows and is beyond words.

Thanks for sharing it with me, I know how I want my rig to look when it grows up.

I know its kinda late, but a tacoma lifted 8 inches on 37 inch tires is about same height as a 2011 super duty according to a member on here. So I think you should be fine, these trucks are short

Thank you! Yeah dude couldn't have said it better. I try to be respectful of other people's trucks, even if it's not what I would have done with it, just because I know that guy loves his truck.

i did have problems fitting my rbp grill too!!! there was this huge gap between the upper frame of the stock grille and the rbp grille-- it seems that the the brackets from the back are not precisely (precisely, i dont know if i wrote that well, heh) in the exact position!! but what the hell!!! i still love the way it looks.. haha!!!
