I just looked and the OEM front coil springs are different part numbers for right and left for a 2017 TRD OR. I didn't check any other years.

So the truck is 100% stock and has had no mods. I am the second owner. First owner drove it 20k miles, mostly road. so 5k miles per year.

I can say for certain the Pro front coilovers have more preload on the driver's side than on the passenger side. The spring perch is higher on the left one. My truck flattened right out after installing the Pros. A common solution is a 1/4" spacer on the top of the coilover.

I can't believe they would not have done this for all levels to remove the eyesore effect. Or do they just wait till u leave the dealer and say to each other "wait till he finds out about the lean, lol"

I have a 2017 OR and have 0 TACO lean. I think we're just anal retentive about our vehicles. Look at other vehicles, a lot of them favor one side as well.

I'm not saying it's not a bad thing, I just thing we pay extra attention to it as fans of our vehicles vs. just owners.

The cause is not due to weight, otherwise the truck would sit level without the driver and gas filled etc. It's also why we have lean with upgraded coils, leaf packs, etc.

The cause is due to slight frame twist which is also found in the Tundra

ok, this seems very logical to me. Is there any fix or not for the twist?

I'm hoping it's a ski slope and not what the alternative is.

A very scenic and scary pass in my state of Colorado. Steep, several thousand foot drop offs in areas.

    here are some pics:

Can be very narrow in areas

For what it's worth - Ive got a 2020 trd off road with 7k on it. Until last weekend I never noticed lean. After some snow wheeling I came home and noticed the lean. I put a level on her to make sure it wasn't just me. The bubble confirms it, my taco is jank.

Time to get a new one.
