    It only happens around here if it's another lifted Toyota.
    While driving my 1st gen 4runner though, nearly every 80's Toyota driver waves.

    ^^^^ I didn't know people did this until other toyotas would give a wave or a thumbs up to me, not just tacomas, a lot of runners too!

    I don't see the need for toyota copy of the jeep wave, its not like we might need the other guy's spare parts to get home like jeep guys do.:D

    I've given the odd thumbs up to modded tacomas and other toyotas, and some genuinely nice classics and rods of all makes over the years, other than that, I wave at everybody equally on the back roads.

    yeah no.... when i had my 79 jeep cj5 id wave all the time and get waves all the time from other legit jeep owners...

    the taco... its not as much of a cult vehicle.

    :( Well poop. No wonder nobody ever waves at me. Little bitty almost stock 2wd. :pout:

    I wave at everybody I see in a Yoto. Rarely, I'll get a wave back. And then one time, somebody in a white 2nd gen DCLB (if I remember right) honked and waved at me as they passed me heading the way I had come from.
