Tail gate bushing

    The bushing on my early 2016 tacoma just broke. I ordered two bushing from toyota part# 6614304021, and discovered that it didn't fit. The bushing would not fit onto the pin. So I put the bushing into a vise used a 7/16 stright router bit and widened the opening. It took some fine tuning but it finally fit. Did the same to the second bushing for a back up. The two bushings total was $12.06. I'll try it out for a few months and hopefully it will work out.

    I just discovered this site and I glad I read the threads. I learned alot about the truck from other owners.
