I have recently purchased a rampage 48 inch light bar, plus the T-connector wiring kit for my 2005 pre-runner. Installed with YouTube's help, the light bar only went bright to dim when applying the break and the whole thing flashes instead of each side ( left & right ) when using the turn signals. I checked the ground and I scraped all the paint behind the tail light where it is suggested to place. I ordered a new t-connector kit and same thing! Then I switched to the Recon line of fire tailgate led light bar. Same problem! Please, does anyone have any suggestions??!! I am stumped! Thanks Toyota Lovers!:confused:

sounds like their wiring may be bad. you can try to hook up to a low voltage power source and try each side independently but other than that. could contact them directly to see which wire color indicates each function.

if you have a trailer hooked up does the same problem occur with its tail lights? maybe you tapped the same wire twice? Your ground is fine since you are getting it to light up so that is not the issue
