TB Dash Pot question

    Opened my hood and noticed the cap to my dash pot on my throttle body popped off at some point.

    maybe a stupid question, but can I just throw any cheap cover over it? Assuming the cap had no special function

    all new dashpot is $80

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    As long as it can breathe The cap just helps keep the filter clean.

    Somebody close to you has to have a spare or go used

    Youre right. That was dealer pricing. I found one online for $56 I might just pull the trigger.
