I need to post outside the Texas area more often. I am getting questions about why Wab-Fab sucks. Hopefully I can save someone from having the same customer dis-service I got.

Obama's executive orders actually weren't that bad :notsure: from the list I read, he didn't put a ban on guns, he's just making the background check process harder and a whole bunch of useless stuff. At least that is where it stands right now.

The only ones I am concerned about are:
    7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

    8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

    Stickers. Lots of stickers.
But that was just his executive orders.

Isn't congress putting together some more control laws?

    oil change...
he used this event as an excuse to usher in some more bullshit for his obama'care...

out of all the things he signed it sounds like they are just trying to spend a shit load more money on junk.

Nothing has changed yet in the face of buying and selling guns, yet. That will have to go through the proper channels. Write our representatives and tell them how you feel. keep it short and sweet

I think so. It's just a waiting game now.
Yeah, most of it was just a waste of time and money.

Honestly, I'll find any way I can to hate on Obama. I think he's slime.

But all of those things sound like great moves. The NRA is all about 7. Hell, they might even help fund the damn classes probably. And I think it SHOULD be hard to get a gun. However, I also think it SHOULD be hard to get a drivers license....

I'm afraid that 7 can be worded to where safe gun ownership can be turned into a long list of rules and regulations.

It should also be hard to get welfare.

And the "gun safety" part. Might start requiring that magazines can not be detachable because "its not safe" or that triggerers require a key to be turned before every shot or some stupid shit like that

His "executive orders" are about as aggressive as his term as a senator; thankfully. He did leave the dirty work for Congress to hash out. This is most likely not going to happen. We have another election next summer and 1/3 of the Senate and all of the House will have to face the music if they pass another AWB. Democrats have already felt the wrath of angry voters once; even Bill Clinton said the Dems lost big after the first AWB got passed. If the lame duck Congress doesn't pass it I don't think it will happen. If it does happen it will be 99% pointless.

Youre mad at the dems, you should be pretty pissed at the reps as well. All in all congress has become a huge waste of my tax money. If it werent for them we could afford to keep medicare, welfare, new roads, and better schooling, and teach people better gun safety all the while being a first world country with a 1st world healthcare system.

Yeah; I guess my post made it seem one sided. I blame them both equally for pissing away the money. That said; currently the side banging the loudest for the AWB is the Dems. So as for the AWB I hold the Dems accountable for that.
