I agree, I do a lot of gardening myself. wish we had a farmer's market to do some trades.

Lol.... Man you are quick with the graphic, maybe I will ask you to make me a logo for my Fire and Ice Grill food tent, we sell meat and popsicles on a stick. Everything is on a stick, adding cake pops on a stick next summer.

Here is how I did it...

Step 1) get a popup shelter a really nice cooler and all the misc stuff you need
Step 2) food permit was $100
Step 3) liability insurance was $300 for a year of 2 million dollar coverage FLIP
Step 4) space rental was $75 for the whole summer!
Step 5) register business online to collect sales tax on ready to eat food for $25

Its super easy... I try to barter as much as possible its sales tax free.

 

Now that's good livin right there!

 

I go with my Dad when I go back home to his farmers market and he does really well. Just extra cash cause he works full time.

Well his name is "The Fluffer"

 

Lettuce, Kale, Ginger, Oranges, Grapefruit, Satsumas, Chicken, duck and quail eggs, onions, ginger potatoes. A whole lot of stuff year round in South Texas.

but what if someone comes out with 5 minute Popsicle's? Summer you will make a killing on them, maybe you need to get 2 of them makers if you have enough demand

 

Any issues with the Health Dept doing inspections or other stuff for food safety? I know each state is different, but I wonder if this is feasible in NJ.
