My main mode of transportation is a 2009 Tacoma, 5 lug, access cab with 2.7 4 cyl and 4 spd auto. It also has a fiberglass topper. I bought it 9 years ago when it had 30k miles showing (I thought that was high for a vehicle just a year old), gave $16k for it. The truck had been sitting on the local Toyota dealers lot for a couple months and was close to going to the auction. People wanted the V6 and double cab. The truck now shows 159k. It's been a good truck, can't complain about anything except for the frosty headlights and the price of Toyota parts. Just last month my dealer inspected the frame, found it to be sound and applied sealer. The truck's stereo is top notch. I run my iPod through the auxiliary port - I sometimes just sit it in listening to good music after I return home. The full frame gives a much better ride than unibodies and it is a great road vehicle. I have no plans on getting rid of the truck anytime soon. I hope to get 200K before the engine requires attention. I change the fluids and filters regularly and it's never given me a bit of concern. Great vehicle!
