I saw it. I’m not worried about it at all. Someone in the comments mentioned that durabak doesn’t have MDI per the MSDS but I haven’t verified myself.

 

Has anyone done a 4.56 gearing for 35's?

 

Guy local to me did. I plan to also.

 

Curious...compared to 4.88 would this be a little better for driving on highway and gas mileage?

 

I reached out to Chase at ECGS inquiring about the difference. Below is what he sent:

"I believe it to be personal preference. The majority would do 4.56, I personally would do 4.88. With 35’s it is no question 4.88. If you highway commute speeds at 65 plus the majority of the time I would do 4.56. If you run around town and backroads 55 or below majority of the time I would do 4.88. I’m sure that does not help. I think you would be happy with either one, either choice is way better than stock."

@Skierrichy it also depends on transmission. Manuals are geared lower so the general consensus is 4.56 for a manual and 4.88 for an auto. I gathered that from the giant thread on 35s

 

I'm auto....4.88 really? I feel like I won't be able to go more than 70 without rpm's getting to high.

 

These engines have no problem with higher rpm. Mpg may suffer a little though. I regularly cruise in 5th gear at like 3,000 rpm because 6th is a little too tall on stock gearing for all my weight lol
