Tire help???

I am tryin to decide which tires to get without breaking the bank. I drive about 200 miles a week to work and the rest of the time my truck is out in the woods. I have a list tell me what ya think.
1. Toyo Open Country MT- my first choice but very expensive
2. Maxxis Bighorns- good looking tire seems most people like them
3. BFG Km2's or maybe AT's- like them both

And where i live we got rocks, mud snow all the good stuff.
Any input would help thanks

I would say for sure the Maxxis Bighorn or Maxxis buckshot mudder. They ride smooth, last long, pull good, and are inexpensive compared to others. Also with the highway driving I would recommend the Pro comp AT with a 50k mile warranty....

 

ya i wont buy pro comp tires my dad had the xtreme mt's on his mega cab and he blew to of them out just driving down a maintained gravel road. like leterally blew one tire one week and then the next week blew the other. And they still had quite a bit of tread left. He just bought the Toyo Open Country Mt's and loves them.

 

Dang I thought they had a problem with that years ago and fixed it, guess not. Ive never seen how the Toyos do so I cant comment on them, they look good though.

 

Ya i do like the bighorns they are good looking tire and rather inexpensive. Ya i have heard from a couple different tire places that the toyos on our trucks will last up to 50-60k!! That would be awesome I believe them to. The only prob with the Toyo's is the cost man are they expensive.

 

Yea they are! A buddy of mine has a set of 36x15.50 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZs on a 93 yota and they have lasted almost 45k and still have good tread, and they pull very good in the mud. The mtz's are expensive too though.

 

i think that was like a tire freak thing my dad at the open country mt and he blew out 2 too, one on the freeway and one on highway 17, it was a split down the sidewall on both, so i dont no i have never heard it happen to anybody else

 

bridgestone dueler at revo 2's, had them for two weeks, put about 1000 miles on em, its gonna snow this weekend, and i cant wait to try them out!!! they are badass in the rain, best traction, i cant even slide around much

 

I do much highway (interstate) and off road. I use BFG Rugged Trail A/T. They are excellent all around, and will last about 70K miles, if not abused. My Vote.

 

Didn't know that it snows in Arizona.

I like the looks of Goodyear DuraTracs. Anyone?

 

ya it snows in pretty much the whole upper half of the state. Where i live the elevation is 6500 feet.

 

The toyo's are working out for me. At this point i wouldnt trade them for anything!
