Im looking to replace my factory tires on my 2015 sport DCLB. I have method wheels in 17x8.5 waiting in the garage, but had a few questions on load ratings.

I do %90 on highway, my off-road use is on east Texas sand and mud, minor rocks. I do not tow but will have the cab and bed loaded down from time to time, and I do plan on getting a camper shell and sliders in the near future.

Will I be fine on typical load tires, or should I look into E load tires? I know there is about a 10-15# increase in the higher load tires, and from what I understand they will ride rougher as well.

    Any comments appreciated

    You definitely don't need E.

The ONLY way I would consider the load range E in you situation is if you are driving through mesquites, cactus or sharp rocks. Like you said, they are heavy and rough. They also require more weight to balance.
