    I have a 2nd gen Tacoma with a 3in lift. Will 255 85 16 fit without rubbing?
    Any help would be grateful

I ran them for several years: BFG KM3 255/85r16 with a 3" lift (Dobisons and Alcan.) Assuming you are using factory wheels-I had 3rd Gen OR rims, they will rub a little depending on your alignment. I deleted the mud flaps, but still had some rub at full stuff. Nothing in the back. PM if you need more

Unfortunately, people are worn out answering this question, including me. There is a ton of info in the threads already referenced, so I suggest you do some reading. The answer is not as simple as you might think. Many factors come into play. I do think that this tire size is the perfect fit for a Tacoma, and I spend 7 months a year living and back country traveling alone in my truck. I have a manual transmission, 4:88 gears, 2.5" lift, 7.5" FJ Cruiser "beadlock" wheels, cab mount chop, and running a Dobinson's billet UCA with 2 degrees of caster offset, 3 degrees total caster. All of this stuff matters. If you read it all and still have a question, you can try here again, or PM me if no one responds. Good luck.
