    I recently installed TC UCA's along with King 14", 700lb coils. Now at full droop my UCA's rub the coils. Anyone else have this problem?

    No, I believe the ones that came on my Icons were 12".

    keep in mind the 700 LBS spring is a bit thicker or fatter OD coil, so it is possible, perhaps limit strapping it so you save your uniball cup/high misalignment and give yourself a bit of a gap?

    just a thought

    spring stand length wont matter for clearance

    rotate the spring a quarter turn or so until the uniball cup sits in a gap in the coil.

    Stock icon coils are 650# 13". For sure the Kings are fatter than my 600# 14" Eibach springs!

    I thought we had the gap when we installed them, but when we cranked down on the coils to adjust the height, the coils turned also and we lost the gap. I will try again.

    the amount of turning you'll have to do to put the gap where you need it won't be enough to visually affect the height. but if it bugs you, you can use a spring compressor to compress the coil and turn it without turning the collar. it will need to be off the truck to do this though.

    Yeah just like you adjusted preload but just give it a 1/4 turn to get the uniball bucket into a coil gap. I have the wrench and we can do it at my place with just a floor jack.

    Stupid question, when you mounted the lower shock eye, are the spacers correctly installed? Long spacer goes in the front. I doubt it would cause the problem, but just a thought.

    Update, the numbers on my coils do not match other ones I have checked. 3.14.700G12 on mine. 3.14.700I13 on the others. Also my springs have 2 more coils than the others. Thats why I can't get the opening for the UCA's. My coils are to close together. Sucks to be me.:(:(
