My sensors are over 10 years old. Batteries are still good.

Yea I went the extra mile and paid 100$ for a set of stocks with the proper size tires stated on tag inside of door with sensors for 1 day a year. Pretty sad that the state would rather I run crappy stock tires and fail my duratracs because they are 265/75s without sensors. I’ve been driving since 81 without them so reallly. I have a gas receipt blocking the light now. Only downside is it cover the left flasher but I’m old and allowed some extra left flasher time.

Vehicle is 5 yrs old. Just bought it used, so new to me. I assume the sensors are original. But battery should be good for 10+ years. If battery is dead, the TPMS light should come on too.

Yes, light does come on at startup.
