I bought 2019 steel rims for my 2011 Tacoma 6-lug truck. The seller said they were off a "Tacoma SR". They look identical to my 2011 Access Cab 4x4 SR5 OEM rims. I also bought the 40 degree TPMS sensors 42607-04010 which are supposed to be identical to the Denso 550-0104's and made for Tacoma steel wheels.

What is the mounting supposed to look like? The sensors I received do not touch the rim at all, they rather hover 1/4" above the rim. Looks all very flimsy to me with nothing supporting the actual sensor, other than the hole through the rim.

It is hard to see in the four pictures I took this morning. It looks better in the picture but there is a significant gap.

I found out that the Aliexpress seller sold me counterfeit/mislabelled TPMS sensors. I received the cheaper 20 degree sensors for the 2nd gen Tacoma, but they are labelled 426070C010 which should be the 40 degree sensors for the steel wheels (it is the same as 42607-04010). Beware when buying on Aliexpress! What I received looks like 42607-33011 (alloy wheel version for 2nd gen).
