transfer case indicator lights?

just picked up a 4 cyl 4x4 and was wondering if the transfer case indicator dial is supposed to light up. it seems strange that the clutch cancel,rsca and lsd buttons light but the t-case dial doesn't. thanks for the input.

looks like i'll be going back to the dealer then as my indicators do not light up at all.

 

if i understood that post, the 4x4 dial doesn't light up from the factory? that's piss poor of toyota if it's true.
