Noise / vibration goes away in 2wd. Only present in 4HI.

If you are feeling it in your seat then the problem is most likely in the rear driveline. If the vibe is in your steering wheel the problem is in front driveline or steering.
With that said, all kinds of noises and vibrations happen in extreme cold but now that has warmed cold weather is out. After re reading your original post I would think it is rear axle or rear differential related. But, I could be wrong. Hope they fix it and good luck!

Just read your last post... if only in 4WD then it could be front diff, ADD or tcase. Again good luck!

Thanks man! I'll be sure to keep this updated once I get the new differential. Are front diff failures common on third gens?

    Just an update:

Dealer replaced front differential ($3000 warranty job)

Driveline vibration (in 4HI) is still present at exactly 45km/h. Will be returning to dealer tomorrow.

I'm confident it's the transfer case as I feel the vibration directly under the floorboard.
