Transmission fluid change

Did mine just today - Drained, Dropped Pan, New Filter.

The O-Ring in mine remained nestled up in the valve body where the Filter fits into it, and the new filter went in very snugly. Everything in there is literally swimming in Tranny Fluid, so that O-Ring probably lasts forever.

Strangely, only 2.5 qts came out of the drain hole (spec says 3.3 qts should drain out).
And the Pan only had 2 qts in it (spec says 2.5 qts should be in the pan). Although I did get another 1/2 qt when I dropped the Filter.
In total, I got 5 qts out of it; and spec says that there should have been 5.8 qts come out.

So then, thinking that it had been about a quart low, I put 7 qts back into it, expecting that I'd get about a quart back out during the level-check procedure, and thus leaving it filled with 6 new quarts of fluid.
But, during the level-check procedure I got 2 qts back out of it; which means that it only took the 5 qts that came out of it initially.
So, is the Spec wrong? I'm talking about the official Toyota Spec:
"AC60F (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE): AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID: ADJUSTMENT".
Maybe they changed something for the 2020 MY (?).
Oh well, I know that I did it correctly, and it shifts just fine (just as it did before too).

How many quarts did you guys get out of yours?

I bought a new pan gasket, but the old one on the pan was just like new, so I re-used the old gasket (per the design) and saved the new gasket for the future.

This is the O-ring part number. Again, mine fell out of the valve body and I didn’t see it until after I had everything back together. I could have reused the old o-ring but figured why not get a new one.

As for total fluid drained, I didn’t keep close track of it but I think I had 5 qts come out and I put in around 6. Then pulled another 3/4 qt or so during the level check process.
