    Hey all,

I searched and found nothing on this product. I'm tempted to buy one but on the fence. I figure its nice to have it off the back as to not leak on my stuff in the bed.

    Does anyone have one?
    http://www.trasharoo.com

    Do you like it? Why?
How well does it attach to just the tailgate (no tire)?
Are you happy you got one?
What have you put in it? how much of that?

    Thanks

I love mine. I've only used it for trash thus far but I would keep recovery gear in it if the wheeling conditions require lots of recovery. I hang mine off the outside of the tailgate. It's a great product IMO. I got mine from a group buy at Sierra expeditions.

    Thanks!

Does it slide back and forth on the tailgate? Some scratches will occur with off roading but how does this affect the tailgate paint?

Id like to limit scratches if i can obviously.

Yes, it can be moved around on the tailgate. The straps are adjustable just like a backpack. I haven't noticed any scratches but I imagine they are possible if the tailgate gets really dirty behind the bag.

Love my Trasharoo. I'm on my second one. I'm planning to get another one. They are great for gear as well as trash. I plan to carry two one for trash and one for gear. Dave Druck (owner of Trasharoo) is an awesome guy. I'm happy to support him.

    They're pretty durable. :)

I got mine from a group buy we did on here... Great trail investment. I love mine and hang it off the back of my tire. Like stated above it's good for damn near anything. I've put stuff in it like camping gear, truck parts, fire wood, trash, etc etc..

Seems like an all around good deal, somewhere to store random things to keep them away from the rest of your gear. Wet clothes, muddy boots, garbage, wood, beer cans, gf when she talks too much.... ok maybe i crossed a line there haha

I even read it can be an emergency backpack if need be

Did you end up putting on the vynl and pick up a trasharoo? How well does it mount to tailgate? This doesnt seem to be documented well.
I just ordered myself one and am considering mounting it to my bedrack if there is possible tailgate ware that may exist with mounting it to the gate.

Have you had a chance to test it out?

Love mine... Its pretty much nessasary if you plan on a multiple day trip in different camping locations and no garbage cans around. Its nice to just have the garbage separate from your stuff. I got mine on Amazon. The black one fades so If you plan on keeping it on the truck dont get black. It works on the tailgate but its much better on a tire.

Damn, I put the order through Amazon this morning for a black one its already shipped. Itll only be on the rig when im camping or on the trail. I carry my bikes alot so I will probably not get a tiregate to mount it to a tire. Tho I do want one!

Does someone tried it on the back of an ATV storage box? Looking at it on a truck makes me think it is maybe a bit too big but it would be so useful when I go on a trip but I dont want it to down front of the brake light or exhaust...

Anyone have issues with scratching on the tailgate? I was hoping to strap a pad underneath it. Or maybe just wrap with vinyl any plastic parts that could come in contact with the tailgate. How does it look with the tailgate open? Is there a way to loosen or detach the part where it attaches to the bottom of the bag so that with the tailgate open it still stays upright? Most of my trips i have the tailgate open when we are around the campsite.

Never had an issue with it scratching my Tailgate. Never had an issue opening my Tailgate with it full of trash, just clip it shut and it will hold no problem. I don't see any way of using this with the Tailgate open. Un clipping to leave Tailgate open Imo will be a lot more cumbersome than just closing the Tailgate to use the trash. I did this for years before I finally got my hi clearance bumper with tire gate.
