Some Durobumps are going in. The front is quite hard when that front comes up fast and I'm hoping these will soften the ride a bit.

The Durobumps work well. I noticed a difference right away driving on the way to work along a road that is quite bumpy with uneven pavement in certain spots. Normally it's a little rough but the Durobumps absorbed the hard impacts, not super soft but way softer than stock. Really impressed and happy with the fronts. The rears I will mount later and post up what I think.

Added some very much needed rain/wind deflectors.

Also finally got around to cutting out the wheel liners. They had been sitting in the garage yelling at me to put them on.

I never wanted them because I never liked the look. They are useful for sure.

Replaced the rear shocks today. The original Rough Country N2.0 shocks that came with the lift kit finally gave up. The shocks themselves no longer worked and the bushings were destroyed. Ended up with the Bilstein B110 5100 for 4"/6" lifts. Should allow for a bit more rear flex now.

Went ahead and installed my RelentlessFab bumper I had sitting in the garage for a few months. Picked it up last fall and with work and the weather changing, I never got around to getting it done. Decided to wait to Spring and now this quarantine time worked out well.

Made a jig out of 2x4's just high enough that the bumper could rest right in place and then I could jack up into final position and test fit.

    Final cut and bolt on.

Think I got mine off of Amazon. The bumper is slick though. Saved my ass a couple times on trees and stuff.

Put in bed stiffeners for peace of mind. Sides were pretty square on the install considering.

Very good mod lol. Keep an eye on those bedsides, or just don’t load the shit out of the cap and bounce the truck up shit.
