Before someone suggests it, I tried searching but found nothing...

I finished updating my lift over the weekend and now have some rubbing. I already removed my mud flaps and trimmed a bit of the bottoms corner of the fender flares on the door side. But I still have some rubbing on the front bumper side of the inner liner.

Before I do more trimming, I was wondering if someone could tell me what this part is even for and why it droops down so low. And if I were to cut, any tips on making it as neat as possible. E95F5AC5-FCB0-4984-AB52-CB38EA4A4598.jpgDAC9478E-B83F-43CA-BEEB-4EF563E10CDD.jpg

I cut most of the front 1/3 of the front inner fenderwells out. There was nothing behind that bump you're referring to. I'm guessing it's a drain for rain water but why it's shaped like that I have no idea.

You can tie it back with wire or zip ties and heat it up to reform it. I ultimately ripped out my liners and snorkeled my truck. Your fog light wiring is back in there so don’t get crazy without looking

Thanks everyone. I’ll be taking a look this weekend.

What did you end up doing on this? My tires are rubbing on the same spot and I'm not sure if I should cut it off or use a heat gun and manipulate it.
