OV is too expensive, who does that leave?

That's it for tunes. But you could look into Shift Sense Pro and Pedal cCommander for bandaid solutions. Cheaper, but all they do is synthesis the gas pedal being pushed harder.

Nothing, tuner wise. OV / VF is the only option. If you wait a while, you might find some specialist shops using OV tune software (VF tune) To create their own tunes and have licensed to install on your truck. Seems this is what Magnuson did for their supercharger.

Only takes 10 tanks of gas to make up the cost of the OV Tune... :D

You are not wrong there at all, haha.

But in all seriousness, Im still on the fence about the VF. I like how my truck drives, but who wouldnt want better? Not sure on the longevity aspect as im planning to keep her for at least 10 years.

Redline custom leather shift and e-brake boot. VFTUNE Super Full Otto cycle, octane learning, premium fuel.
Just find someone with OVTUNE software to flash your truck. It is allowed, just pay for the ecu ID. Seems like the going rate is 250 dollars. If you are near me, I will do it.

I’ve had mine tuned for over 70k miles. It’s worth every penny. It runs better than stock and has noticeably more power, especially down low with the mt

you can either get the kit or have someone like @Saeros tune your truck for you

Yeah I’m not gonna be the guinea pig on the new drivetrain. I did that on the 16 Tacoma. I’ve learned my lesson.

Exactly lol. Imma hafta pay close attention to features. Hopefully the advanced cruise shit isn't on the first year. That's one of the only things I care about. I guess if u have enough low end it's probably not as magnified.

i think this is the one. he has a couple vids up with dyno runs. think the other one is showing the parasitic loss running heavy wheels and tires.
