I have only had mine on for a few months in Ohio but I really like them. I ordered from the Tyger website. We will see how they hold up with the salt on the roads here in the winter . Also they came packaged really well no damage at all during shipping.

Mine still look great, and are actually useful now that I’ve got a 2 inch lift and 33’s.

I ground/sanded off the rust and painted the affected area with Rustoleum primer, top-coated with satin black. Brush painted without removing the steps. The texture of the repainted areas does not match the original, but overall it looks ok and is holding up well.

Looks good. Thank you for the update.
I drive thru a rock quarry, up and down a big hill, and across a narrow bridge with 4 90 degree corners. I know it sounds insane but Kentucky. Big and small rocks wash into the road every time it rains, and big rains cover the bridge and wash across the road removing the asphalt till they fix it. Sometimes a couple off months of gravel and asphalt chunks.
Saying all that to say the other set I had on the frontier held up great, and protected the doors and rockers really well from slung up/kicked up rocks.

This kinda stuff twice a day. You can't see how steep it is.

Tractor Trailers get lost and stuck trying to go up the hill. All sorts of signs saying hey Dollar General Wharhouse go the other way.

Oh and I ain't worried about giving away where I live. I am sure by now I have my own CIA agent, and he has his own therapist. I expect his wife left him, and his dog is his only true friend but he is probably thinking the dog is a cabal plant sent to keep him under control.

Also we all know each other out here, so any wierd vehicles get watched.

Good I am very happy with mine. They look and feel really good. Much easier to use than the predator steps. I always felt like they were to small of a step platform. I can put both feet on these, and reach all of the roof easily.

Exactly! I'm 6'3 but with my suspension I need to stand on them to clean the top of my truck and the sunroof when I wash it :cookiemonster:

I bought mine last year around November off Amazon, box was dinged up (fedex sucks) had a small scratch but not big deal was the underside and i put some touch up paint to prevent rust. Very solid steps compared to many aftermarket steps.
Install was easy but heavy to do by urself, i used a jackstand to help line up the step and put the bolts in. Don’t tighten the bolts all the way yet, get them started then put the other bolts in then tighten them all down.

Does that effect how solid the steps feel? If it doesn’t then I’m wondering why they even made it with that extra bar

almost 2 yrs before any kind of rust,, NE pa. i had a set of nfab before these, they rusted really bad in 3 months

That’s a really good idea I think I will do that too. What tools did you use to make the cut? BTW what tires are those?

i put the Tyger 4" step bars on my access cab last month. They actually work great as steps and will prevent door dings. The price was $150.00 .seems like a bargain compared to others.

I find this step very slipper to use with snow. I thought about slapping on some non-skid tape. Anyone have any good solution for it?

I dunno we haven’t had any decent snow last winter here but i think that issue would be with most steps, my old Ridgeline had factory steps and they were slippery whenever it had snow or ice on them
