Fluid Film if you live in salt country or beach drive.

Nothing required if you live in the South or Southwest.

Lots of threads on various application methods.

Your profile is bare. Where do you live?

Honesty....undercoating is notorious for trapping moisture. I would avoid it.

You're better off with Fluid Film or just leaving it alone and keeping the frame clean with undercarriage washes or a pressure washer

I live in the land of chalk white from salt roads. Have Rustop applied. Spray on and in thick penetrating oil. Every other year treatment is all that is necessary. Somewhat messy but no rust signs on vehicles over 10 yrs old.

I'm an outlier here. I go with a solvent based undercoat on all my new vehicles. I keep my vehicles 10 - 15 years and never had a issue with "trapped moisture". Undercoating also acts as a noise reducer.

Fluid Film all the way

It's non toxic as an added bonus and makes your truck smell funny for a week

    But it's liquid gold

I recommended Fluid Film to a salt palletizing company I've done work for (robotic palletizing) and wherever they have used fluid film they're equipment is still good to go (mind you the roof is rusting out of this building because of the salt / moisture in the air, it's a hellish place to work)
