Used motor oil among other things is full of known carcinogens there are heavy metals water and corrosives also in the mix yes corrosives just exactly what you need on your truck frame. The carcinogens can be absorbed through the skin great stuff to spray all over ones self. Motor oil just dripped from oil leaks in parking lots are enough to kill plant life and fish in local streams and pollute ground water it is bad stuff and most likely will do more harm to your truck frame then salt. For years old times did use it on their trucks not knowing any better and wondered why their stuff still rusted. Some thing like fluid film is non toxic lanolin oil there are other names but they all are non toxic for good reason and it migrates unlike used motor oil into small spaces. If you buy a gallon it’s enough to do 3 trucks that works out to $10 a truck not a bad deal for some thing that will not harm you, your truck or your neighbor hood. Don’t believe me do your own research the web is full of information about the dangers of used oil.
