I have a 2011 TRD DC and I notice the underside is getting a little bit of rust on it... I'm wondering what people did/used to prevent this? Obviously rust needs to be sanded/grinded out but wondering if they did themselves or maybe brought it to like a Ziebart or something to get it done?? Just wondering how to best handle and what people used??

Do a search for fluid film. Easy to apply, but you will need to reapply each fall. Many members go this route.

Hmm alright I'll take a look thanks... Wondering if it would be easier just to have Ziebart do it.. Want to say they offer a lifetime warranty on their undercoating....

Yes, it would be easier to have someone else do it. Alls you have to do is shell out the dough.

I second the recommendation for fluid film. For a minimal investment you can buy a sprayer and a gallon of FF that will last you a long time. I sprayed my frame right after I purchased my truck and plan to spray again this fall before winter. You can also buy aerosol cans of FF on Amazon that are good for touch ups on the high traffic areas.
