Wuddup y’all. I destroyed my stock front suspension parts going 4 wheeling, and I’m looking to upgrade the parts so it don’t happen easier. It’s got IFS, and can’t afford to slap a straight axle under it right now so I got a 2.5 inch lift for it and some new upper control arms, is there anything else that can be upgraded on the front suspension?

I'm also wondering what it means when you "destroyed" it.

The obvious first step is replacing whatever is bent/broken. For the lower ball joints, there aren't really any "upgrade" parts unless you go long travel or spend a few grand on stock length uniball LCAs. So just get some new ones. Go OEM if you can afford them, but your truck certainly won't explode with 555's, and even cheaper ones as long as you inspect and maintain them regularly.

And depending on what "lift kit" you got, you many not actually be improving anything in the durability department anyway. Very few "kits" are centered on performance and durability. Most are essentially just spacers or longer shocks. For real beef, you need to look at higher end coilovers (King, Fox Icon, ADS, etc), uniball UCAs, spindle braces, etc...

I got some uniball UCA a couple weeks ago. But the install manual doesn’t tell how to install them, just tells you how to take off the old control arms. I got them sitting in place, I just gotta buy a new spindle now.

And it’s had a lift kit on before this even happened, I just added in there to see if there was certain things that needed to be aftermarket sizes.
