So my 2013 taco has the built in touchscreen, no nav. I was wondering what people are doing with aftermarket touchscreens, maybe retaining factory nobs on the dash?

That is all part of the headunit. If you want something else, you'll have to replace the entire unit. Look around on here you'll see.

Scosche and Metra make bezels for the Tacoma.
Alpine makes a "Perfect Fit" system with their 8" headunit for the 2012+ Tacoma that is beautiful. Expensive and you need to want the Alpine.
All other single or double-din headunits fit within the Scosche or Metra bezel, so take your pick
