Greetings, I have little or no data connection between my Android phone and my truck dash. I can charge, but poorly. Android Auto rarely connects. I have tried three different phones and different cables so I conclude my best bet is to replace the USB port in the dash. At $150 each, it's worth checking to see who has had this issue. Also interested to know before I take all that plastic off the dash to get the USB port out if there is any behind the dash wiring that has proven to be the source of this problem. Thanks all.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
if it is just USB port for charging, get one of these. This one for my wifes RAV. I have one in my Taco.

Just plug it on the cig lighter slot, and done.

Thanks, I have one so a passenger's phone can stay charged. I need the in-dash USB connection to work so the Android Auto app can display Google Maps or similar mapping on the dashboard screen.
