Using both cables???

I just ordered the Kenwood DNX 5120 and have a question.
What can I do to utilize both the standard usb cable and the IPod cable? I'm pretty sure there's only one slot in the back and the manual says that you cannot use a USB hub. Any Ideas? Has anyone figured out a way to keep them both connected? I know that i can just plug in the usb cable and then plug my ipod into that but its an Ipod video and i'm pretty sure you can only play video from the ipod via the ipod cable.

I'm not clear on the 5120, but on the 8120, there are two USB ports and you can't plug the iPod into the plain USB port or plug a USB drive into the iPod port. Also, I believe the iPod USB cable only provides access/navigation features to the iPod. My 8120 has a separate cable for video from the iPod IIRC.

 

I had to buy a separate Ipod USB cable to connect to the HU IF i wanted to watch video from the IPOD. The unit comes with a regular cable to connect flash drives or whatever right?

 

Also check out the new cable that Kenwood is coming out for the new iPods, it's the 301V, it's an upgraded cable that will work with the newer generations of iPods. I just posted it today, you can see that thread for specs. Take care and post up what you ended up getting. I just bought the 5120 myself and will be having it installed next week. Whoo hoo!
