all cell phone companies have their fair share of goons that work for them, I guess it just depends on the store you go into. I have been with Verizon for over 8 yrs now, I love them.

Believe me, I know the feeling. I've had my fair share of wanting to choke them over shitty CS and nickle and diming me over petty shit. But when it comes down to it, their network just fucking works! And works wherever I go. There are some dead spots, but I know about them and lose signal in the same spots every time. Unlike when I was with Cingular (now ATT, but probably no better). With THAT fucking company I'd be on a call with full signal, it would drop to 0, drop my call, and come back to full signal by the time I looked down at the phone and could redial. There were times when I'd have to call someone back 5 times on a 20 minute call just because of that shit. I've never had that happen on Verizon in the 5 years I've had them except when entering known dead zones. But I know where they are so it's expected and I wrap the call up quickly, or call back later.

That is true, their signal is good. can get signal in the bathroom downstairs in my workplace where most others cant. That is about the ONLY thing good about their company

I have them..Went from nextel(when it wasnt with sprint) to tmobile, then to verizon..I loved nextel, but they went and fucked up and joined with sprint. Tmobile was ok, now verizon sucks hardcore. My bill is always different every month and I have unlimited everything. I cant wait to get out of the contract next may. I went in looking to upgrade, and they told me I could do it, but i'd have to pay $20, or wait untill my plan is up then they credit me $50 to a new phone..I said no, I dont plan on staying with verizon after my plan is up. Not one person offered anything to make me stay. My buddy got an iphone, and its about $20 more a month then im paying now, but for everything you get, its worth it. I'm going to att next year and try them out

This phone was my old phone: IT STILL FRIGGIN WORKS (cant see my contacts though), but i tried to tape it up and crap but sadly its falling apart. its been dipped in salt water (hence the screen has funky colors), left in the rain, dropped countless times and it still worked. i fucking wish they still made these.

Lady at verizon wireless is shocked. Heres the new phone:
    DSC02476_d344721b4dbc10325d7d0dbc17889f1b8ae790c1.jpg
The lady told me this phone will not put up with those conditions at all? WHY THE FUCK NOT? CMONNN TECHNOLOGY... id think itd be getting better? this phone is fricking rediculous i have to keep locking and unlocking it all the time which kills the battery even faster, and the goddamn buttons are so sensitive when it is in my pocket and before i know it im making a call to some random person either that or on the internet? WTF. REPAIR MY OLD GODDAMN PHONE!

And that's the only reason I stay. Why would I switch to a company like ATT that has notoriously piss-poor cs AND shitty coverage in my area? That's like taking a slap in the face AND a kick to the nuts.

Yeah, they're billing practices give me a fucking headache trying to figure them out. And it doesn't help that my shit has changed every month for the last 3 or 4....

    Changes:

    1. Changed to a Nation Wide plan when I got it changed over to my name
    2. Once in my name I could apply the company discount through the hospital (19% off primary line charge)
    3. Was told I should probably change to the contracting company I work for's discount plan (20%) so I did.
    4. Changed plans again because I could save $7/month doing a plan with unlimited texting vs a cheaper plan with $10/month 500/unlimited anyone/verizon texting per phone
And in between those changes I used VZ navigator a couple times to find where my wife was when the truck broke down at $2.99/day plus data usage (which they don't mention!) + tax. As well as my wife looking for ring tones or something and running up $2 or so in data usage + tax.

I swear it's next to impossible to add up all their fucking charges to figure out what's causing each monthly bill to be different.

I started with nextel when bleeping was super popular in my area. They sucked ass. Bleeping was ok sometimes.

I got my company phone from Cingular that phone worked everywhere...except korea. Never had an issue or a dropped call.

I got laid off and got a Verizon plan. My phone (storm) drops calls all the time.Being back to work Ill be on an important conference call and the phone just quits saying lost connection and gives a loud disconnect tone through the speakerphone. Sucks when the phone is against your head and f'er beeps at you in your ear super loud. Then look at the phone and WTF full service...Gaaahh!!!

Id be more pissed if i was paying for the plan...the company is getting tired of it too and offered to buy me an iphone but i have to pay to kill my servcie contract

had the same problem dude.. pissed me off.. finally got it situated with my last phone upgrade

edit: only thing that keeps me with verizon is the service. i got service when i was down in the mountains off TN. backpacking. outside of that... shitty... and i have never had any luck with the samsung phones. went through 3 of them... 2 being the same. last phone was the first alias and that think was a skidmark on the underpants of a fat dude. ive had lgs otherwise and they are great... no problems at all... i dropped one of the lgs i had so many times and it never gave me issues... now i got the versa and it is pretty cool... i have dropped this a few times as well (with a case on it) and it has not given me any issues

i have VZ. i hate them but they are the only good wireless provider in the southeast. i dont want an iphone or ATT service. tmobile is a joke in our area. nextel is expensive and i just dont like them. VZ by far has the worst customer service of any carrier out there though. how they got so big is beyond me.

Yeah this says it all. The only reason AT&T isn't in the bankruptcy court is because of the iPhone.

On a second note. I again had an excellent experience with Verizon. I gave my mom one of the spare lines on my account and she wasn't happy with the older phone I had on that line. She wanted to pay full price for a new Envy3. I called CS and they hooked her up with a $50 discount for no good reason other then I asked for it. A++ for verizon.

As for the previous comment. Definitely find a Company store not a franchise store!
