Yeah, I'm not even up to mowing yet. Dove into the horrendous knotweed yesterday. Curse those who let it take hold here!

Hey everyone. The wife and I are getting ready for our yearly trip to your state at the end of June. We have stayed in Stowe several times as well as Jeffersonville. This year we are staying in Waterbury as it is a little closer to Burlington which we like to frequent as well. We usually check out the waterfalls around Stowe as well as all the great breweries in the area. But if anyone has any input on places to add to the list of must visit while in the area, I would love to hear it. We will most likely be taking my 06' X-Runner so not looking to do any offroading
Breweries in vermont we have visited ; Burlington, fiddlehead, foam, pro pig, alchemist, lost nation, rock art, hill farmstead, idletyme, Von Trapp

It’s a bunch of back roads etc. I’ve done it nice ride but just back roads stuff. Stowe is nice just expensive. Not really a lot other than getting away from the city’s. Some nice countryside in the north in Franklin but like farms and mountains.

the water park in Jay peak isn’t bad either.
You’d want to spend some time for the price.

I’m in the northern part and don’t venture south much! Maybe some else will recommend some southern stuff!

I have been up to Jay Peak once. Dont think we will venture up that far. I am kind of questioning if we will even go as far as Hill Farmstead. Just because its in the middle of nowhere and the road to get there isnt too much fun in a lowered truck. Plus I can get some of their beer on tap at The Bench in Stowe most of the time

Two great waterfalls in vt is moss glen falls in stowe(I'd be suprised if you havent gone) and falls on lana. Forget where that one is.

Hill farmstead is a must IMO. People get there in camrys all the time, might be slow going but thats my favorite brewery

We have been to Moss Glen falls and plan to again as well as Bingham falls. The Hill farmstead trip may depend if we run out of things to do. The road is so wash boarded that last time I couldnt go over 15mph lol

You could go south on 100 into the Mad River Valley. Lawson's brewery is in Waitsfield. There is Warren Falls and another Moss Glen Falls on 100. There is Texas falls off of 125 if you head up toward Middlebury Gap from Hancock.

If you went west across one of the gaps, and a little further south, Foley Brothers Brewing and Red Clover Ale Co are in Brandon. Middlebury Gap and Appalachian are both fully paved. Lincoln Gap is unpaved on the west side of the ridge.

    Haha I got ducked today?
    It’s a jeep thing.
Dude had an orange jeep said he loved my inferno.
Talked a little said I had to go, he went in the store.
I put the duck back on his jeep!

Thinking now I should have given to my grandson?

Thanks for the tip! We have been to Lawsons before. Thats another one we dont go to every time just because its so far from where we normally stay. Im looking forward to spending a day in burlington. Burlington is our favorite brewery but we usually just hit that on our way to Stowe where we normally stay. Usually just stopping for a burger and beer and hitting the road again. The wife has not been to fiddlehead so we are going to hit that as well as zero gravity which I have not been to
