ok here a good question I want someone to answer it.. I had new tires put on last spring.. had it rebalanced it three time to get it right.. no problems until now.. I had the dealer rotated along with oil change aka the toytoa care package deal I got with truck, the last freebie. Last week it was my own oil change. I cross rotated the tires to get better wear on them. I had it done in the past with no problems. Going 65mph I can feel the vibes, Today took it over to my repair shop, they looked in to it.. balanced it again 2 x.. still feel abit of the shake at 65-70 mph.
It is a acess cab with 41000 miles.. I tried to cross out what could be the possiable problem.. cant be axis warp, cant be drive shaft.. the mechanic told me that he felt it coming from sterling wheel. could be the wheel bearing going out?
I hope you guys can shed some light here.

Well it is defiantly NOT recommended.

So that could be your issue.

I still disagree . Did you look in the manual? Also did you read my last post? My last taco which was 2007 never had an issue. Cross rotate is ok only if have the right kind tires. If the labeled directioal which means only front to back only or biply tires. Many tire shop would x switch tires. Other word the left driver to pass rear. Opposite for the right side.

My Michelin dealer cross rotated my tires in an attempt to rid my steering wheel shake over 60 mph. They said its fine to cross rotate as long as the tires are not directional.

1x^ I agreed to that.... The few maybe causes: tire balance/ bad tire or wheel bearing or carier bearing or slip yoke.. Mine is acting at the front.. the rear tires are fine and no vibes from there.. I watch my stick shift to see any shakes.. none there.. sooooo I will have my own mechanic to looking to it next week when I am off for two days.. so he can mess around it. I hate to put in stealership they tend to fuck it worst.
