I've been reading lots of threads on here lately; I'm hoping to pick up my first Toyota vehicle EVER sometime soon. Since I'm a total newbie I've been trying to decipher the trim/option packages. Probably going to get some configuration of a 2015 Double Cab 4x4.

I don't do any fancy camping or towing but I am looking forward to bringing truckloads of trouble home from Home Depot/Lowes/etc. I have two little boys that will be hanging out in the backseat and in a few short years they'll be bigger than me and hopefully still comfortable back there!

My justification for the Trails Team package was that I wanted leather and nav, and I think I'll make use of the roof rack, and I like the looks of the side steps...

Your different packages are basically all just different levels of creature comforts if you're looking at a DC... With the exception of the Off-road package on the short bed which adds the rear locker for off-road use...

I got the sport cause the hood scoop, I think it makes the truck look a little meaner, just MO

The TRD Sport most certainly is a smoother ride on the road than the Off-road, though not as functional on the trails.
