Hey guys, my 2015 tacoma has been making this noise recently when I cold start it in the mornings. Been about 35 degrees in the morning in Texas. I was wondering if this is normal or if something needs to be checked out by the dealer. (going for an oil change soon since it's maintenance free for 2 years) Doesn't sound right to me but this is my first truck/toyota. Any insight will help! Thanks!

Main't Req'd light flickering (reminding me to change oil)

Doesn't sound normal, whatever the temp.

that is the oil pump, known to be noisy on certain tacomas

if it bugs you and the noise is really noticeable, some here have gotten them replaced.

Mine does that, sounded kinda like rod knock. Happens occasionally, sounds like it comes from the drivers side cat.
