image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I purchased a set of Westin Nerf Bars from a guy off of Craigslist, he even has pictures of them on his 2005 Tacoma double cab. I cannot figure out how these should mount. Mine is s 2006 double cab. The style that Westin sells now has three brackets to hold them to the underside of the body. I assume that these go through the chassis, as there are no holes to mount them to the body. I got on the Westin site to download installation instructions and even emailed them. They were not familiar with these. Has anyone seen this type, or does anyone have some similar to these? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, David

These are often driver and passenger side specific. Have you tried flipping them to the other side?

Yes I have tried them on each side, but neither side looks accurate. That is why I was hoping that anyone would have a set like these to be able to help me out. Even pictures of a set mounted would be awesome to show me exactly where they go.

Your mounting plates look perpendicular which may be perfectly fine, but if I remember correctly mine were at an angle.

These apparently are designed to mount on the chassis and not onto the bottom of the cab like most. The flat bars in the picture with bolts have to be put through part of the boxed frame. How do yours mount, onto the cab? That is why I would love to find anyone that has a set mounted onto the chassis.

Thanks Lyodbraun!! It only looks like one end is slightly different than mine. And I had the similar type bracket upside down, which would throw everything off completely. Thanks for posting the pictures!! I will try again tomorrow night to mount these.
