Pulled out my t-case a couple days ago for replacement and figured I should replace this seal. It goes between the t-case and transmission in the housing that the t-case bolts onto. I’ve been to multiple auto parts stores and searched online and I cannot seem to locate this seal. Anybody know know the seal name or where I could find one of these bad boys? image.jpgimage.jpg2F465713-89EF-41EA-B946-107B81FFB436.jpg

At gm we call that the transfer case input seal.

An auto parts store might be able to cross reference the Koyo part number that’s on the seal.

With everything made in China these days, I would take that seal and picture to your local Toyota dealer and say”Gimme 1 of these”

I’ve checked O’reillys and Advanced auto and they tried using the numbers to identify it but there were multiple oil seals of different sizes that came up. The guy at advanced seemed pretty frustrated with their system after a while and told me to come back Monday when his “commercial” guy was gonna be there. He also asked which transmission I had and I should’ve checked by now but I’ve just been lazy lol.

The nearest dealer is about 2 hours out so I was hoping to not have to make the trip if I didn’t have to. That’s a good idea I hadn’t thought of just calling koyo to see if they could help find it.Hopefully won’t have to make any more trips out of town just for a freakin seal lol :fingerscrossed:.

I watched a YouTube video of a guy doing the switch on his first gen tundra and he called it something like the transfer case adapter housing seal, but I haven’t been able to find anything by that name.
